Thanksgiving Hatch- Anyone want to join in?

Here is my one little lone buckeye waiting for HER buddies the longcrowers to hatch tomorrow. She was very upset and very vocal, so I gave her my fuzzy hat and she settled right in and got quiet.

It's funny, I set my eggs on nov 5 and then I went to the calendar and saw that they were due on thanksgiving. I called all of my family and said we are having dinner at my house, little did they know it was because of my little peepers being hatched that day!!

Guess I became crazy when I started with the chickens!!

s/he looks so cozy on that little fuzzy hat that i think i'm going to knit or crochet something specifically for baby chicks.. a little fuzzy nest to go into the brooder... i can even make enough that they can be taken out and washed in the washing machine every day or every other day...
hhhhmmmmmm i could make some money with this idea... hhhmmmm
a good way to support my chicken addiction...

Went to the coop to "just see" and look what I found........ (sorry my pics. are crappy but I dont want to bother Momma again just yet)
