Freezing temps sound like a nice reprieve to me - still hot, muggy here, heading to the high 80s again today. We are 10-12 degrees above normal average.

The oak tree has shed its leaves, I need to get out and grab some for mulching my garden boxes.

Love the smell of fallen oak leaves. Pile them up and jump into them. Never too old for that.

Gonna go for a walk tonight when I get home as soon as I get home. Can’t wait for the crunch crunch of the leaves LOL not exactly crisp fall air though as it was almost 80° today but still gorgeous out LOL

Hubby's favorite season is fall. I like the beauty, but the shortening days make me feel.... hemmed in, I guess is how I'd describe it. Especially after the time change, when it gets dark around 5-5:30. Gotta get everything done well before dinner!
