I know this upcoming weekend is the thanksgiving weekend for the USA....

whats open and whats not?

I know everything is closed on Thursday.. and Friday is crazy black friday... what about Saturday? is it safe to shop?

I try to hibernate from friday 12am till sunday afternoon after football.

i am looking for an ereader, we have one in canada called a kobo... but from what i have read it slow and buggy hubby wants a kindle so I was thinking about popping across the border on saturday morning EARLY and picking it up and be back home in canada in my jammies by noon..

Let me see, I'm certain the Supercenters are open on Thanksgiving, Walgreens (the 24 hour stores are open year-round, including Christmas) but I"m not sure about the Neighborhood Markets (which wouldn't have the Kindle anyway...)

Let me see...I know we sell the Apple Ipad, let me look about the Kindle.

ETA: No, looks like Kindles can only be bought on Amazon.com.
