My mom (city girl) was pretty harsh on us when we were little about staying clean. We lived in the country on a small farm. Clean?? in little white dresses?? on a farm!! ME??? LOL! not happening! I was digging up worms and bugs and getting dirty as soon as I could walk! I give her credit for trying, but it was futile! I also think thats where alot of my resistance comes from health wise, you're exposed to the world around you while young, dirt, pollen, micro organisms etc... I think getting dirty is healthy for kids! And it washes off!

I can't wait to get my hands in the dirt this spring... I always love the smell of the earth!

Me too! Our seasons change so fast here, I was outside at midnight last night and it was cool but not cold anymore, and when I feed in the morning I do some yard work. The best part of my 2 week break at this time is getting outside during this first part of Spring.
