That's Weird....... Help Please?

I probably should have made it clearer, that bird in the first link isn't mine, just looks exactly like it.
The bird in the second pic is mine at 5-6 months.
I would have a photo of it now, but my camera isn't working and I just got back from being overseas. I'll see if I can get a pic soon.
No crowing, but my other roo is.
No replacement, the person who checked up on them isn't really a chicken person, wouldn't know which breed to get or where to get one.
It had a feather problem with feathers coming in late and damaged but moulted out.

Though, if the person is not a chicken person, I give them big kuddos for trying.

My chicks are now 9 wk old pullets, but they've changed alot in that time.
They're not full grown yet, and I suspect they're not done changing either.
This could be the same bird.

Okay, here are my boys

Just got a pic.
Lacey ( speckled sussex ) in front, and Daygo ( silver-laced wyandotte ) behind. They are a bit mucky right now.
Daygo is definitely still Daygo. Wouldn't they be fighting if he wasn't? Plus, he's imprinted on me and follows me round and comes when I call him.

I have a golden laced Wyandotte and the feather pattern is changing quite rapidly. I imagine they are not their true colors until they are fully mature. I doubt there was a switch.
