Mama Heating Pad. There's a few threads about them on here. I'll see if I can find the one I was reading. They're a safer alternative to the heat bulbs and not nearly as expensive as the heat plates.

We officially have 100% hatch and all babies have naked necks to some degree. Super happy with this hatch! 13/13

I just woke up to the characteristic peeps of a freshly hatched chick. My third is out! Another White Silkie x Easter-egger:

That's it for me! My hatch total is 3.

Went to bed at 12:20am with one newly hatched. Sprang out of bed at 6 am when my hubby got up(completely unusual behavior for me lol). 4 hatched and all the rest are pipped and going strong. I moved the 4 to the brooder and I am entrenched now in my living room, coffee in hand, watching chick tv.

I still have a few eggs in incubator that I'm going to give a little more time before doing final count.

has she done this before?
I keep hearing how quail don't go broody
