I had my first ever hatch this weekend!!! Let me say I am addicted!!! I am throwing another batch in this coming weekend and then another to hatch along with yall!!! Why wasnt i warned about the possibility of this addiction?!?! haha

Deal! lol I love them. I put them in my omelettes, on pizza, in spaghetti sauce. Heck I've even eaten entire cans of them for a snack! :drool Oh and on my burgers! Mushroom and swiss burgers... So yummy

Awww lol although they can sometimes be tolerable on meatloaf or Salisbury steak.

Makes sense to me, but that's pretty much why I never got into hatching for the longest time. Not so much not being able to have roosters, but not wanting to be overrun with them. Of course, now I have two incubators and a whole row of pens to house the roosters I couldn't part with, so... :oops:







Sounds like my sister. She puts them in everything. :sick I just can't stand the texture of them, all rubbery and weird.

Found I did grow out of the mushroom allergy but still cannot stomach them
gag reflex slimy and icky do not like the look hate the slime when cooked and Son is the same

Agree. Hate the texture and the slime. So gross lol

Count me in! I'll be hatching Barred Rock chicken eggs!

I'm planning to join the hatchalong using my new Harris Farms nurture right incubator! I'll be hatching a mix, focusing on my bantam cochin, ameraucana and EE. This will be my third hatch using an incubator but I've never used an incubator with a clear view of the eggs which is exciting!
