Calling all Goose hatchers!!!!! Time to get some baby goslings! Put them in the incubator.

goose: 28 to 32 days to hatch; set March 19th - March 23rd​

I have a probleeeem! Until I see a Muscovy and Pekin egg together, I don’t know who the mama is, and don’t know if I am timing it for Pekin or Hinnie.

Question? Do any of y'all disinfect your incubator? If so what do you use. I haven't hatch in a year. I just pulling by incubator out and it does have a funny smell, so I cleaned it with baby soap and water. I have it open to air out now.

I would love to join, but I set my eggs yesterday under my broody! They are due on the 9th. Can't wait though! I will be watching for yall's chicks!

ummm my chicken eggs went in the 14th but not really in the hatch along just donating a few prizes so following along

If it smells, I'd use a bleach/water solution to clean it.

Okay, spot check now much more accurate since just sticking it in the incubator and leaving it all day lol took the vent plug out too so idk if that allowed it to be cooler. But yeah. Reading much closer now. Still like a half degree too high but much better than 2 almost 3 degrees off lol
