So I made a separate thread but I'll ask here as well since I'm needing it for the Hatch A Long. I need a new incubator. Haven't used my Farm Innovators for years and last time I did I had an extremely difficult time with it and a not great hatch. I was waffling between the Hovabator Genesis and IncuView All in One. Honestly I'm leaning more towards the Genesis as I've read reviews about it over the years and for the most part they are always good. The IncuView is new to me but I like the design and the fact it's plastic and not styro but that doesn't always mean it's better.
Anyone have any personal experience with these?
We're a chatty bunch. This sounds so fun! I can't wait! I have an incubator full of chicken eggs right now, my first time hatching eggs by myself, due to hatch March 1st! Just enough time to get the incubator cleaned and the bitties moved out to the grow pen so I can take part in the Easter Hatch-a-long! My Husband is going to kill me...but the incubator is quiet so if he doesn't catch me, he can't stop me! lol!

I just read through the entire thread and have already learned a thing or two about quail sexing and the pet market in NY (apparently selling the sewer gators in the pet stores now, lol!) I can't wait to see what else I learn from the rest of the wonderful members!
You are, but I only impart wisdom. We're a chatty bunch.![]()
Give the Incuview a shot if you can get a good price for it. The Genesis is very good too so it depends on cost really. So I made a separate thread but I'll ask here as well since I'm needing it for the Hatch A Long. I need a new incubator. The cheapest I've found the IncuView is around $199. I can get a Hovabator for $150 and reuse my egg turner I had in my FI...Give the Incuview a shot if you can get a good price for it. The Genesis is very good too so it depends on cost really.
Keep an eye out on Craig's list for an octagon. Someone might be looking to upgrade for Spring hatching seasonThe cheapest I've found the IncuView is around $199. I'm kicking myself so hard for not get a Brinsea octo 20 eco back when they still made them and they were on sale. The new Ovations are just too far out of my price range. Especially since I'll just be hatching chicks for my mother or to immediately take to a SWAP since I can't keep them myself... I really need to move somewhere I can have my chooks again. lol
