I gave them a pumpkin filled with scratch today!

Busy the last few days partially-moving in to a new house and hosting Christmas festivities there.

But for Day 12, the chickens got decor for their fence (my gift from the 15yo), and all the Christmas dinner scraps:

I'm studying dinosaurs (well, fossils in general) right now. They are fascinating, especially the dinosaurs!

The whole warm-blooded dinosaur and feathered dinosaur/dinosaur-bird connection thing was just being discovered when I was in college. I wrote papers on them for two of my classes.

That's the kind of stuff I love most! Especially the fact that chickens are literally 99% living dinosaurs!
