Ditto. We are, in fact, suffering the consequences of our actions. God is not dropping a cosmic economic bomb on us - He's sitting there shaking His head in frustration at our idiocy. We've really had this coming for quite a while. It's simply astounding how so many mainstream economists completely missed it.
