I actually went and ordered another incubator (a Genesis Hova Bator) so now I can participate! I didn't order it just for the the Easter Hatch-a-long, but it was a nice incentive to have more than one! Count me in as well. I'll but doing chicken eggs and maybe something else depending on how my luck holds

I've just ordered my incubator! If it gets here and I can get it stabilized in time, I will hatch along with all of you.

I just got the email about this and it looks exciting and fun! Count me in!

It'll be my first hatching, and my first Hatch-a-Long. I'll be hatching some duckies.

Rats! With all these new people joining the hatch I KNOW my guess for total eggs set will be way low now. Guess I should have waited until closer to the hatch to guess...

Hey, I know this is a bit OT for this thread, but I thought I would post it here since I know a LOT of you are following this thread right now. I just saw this post on Craigslist - http://flint.craigslist.org/grd/3631613819.html Wow! Sounds like they have a serious problem with egg eaters!

Any experts with suggestions want to contact them?

Is there a Trader Joes or Whole Foods near by?

They sell fertile eggs and they hatch! Look at my Avatar...The two white pullets are Trader Joe's Leghorns!

ron, I think you were talking about this on our other thread..ya know, for us old timers..anyway, made a call to my health food store. She didn't have any eggs at the time, but said they get them, but didn't know if they said fertile or not! what? But then she says, I know someone close by that sells them. Ha, got hold of that gal, and boy, I think I hit the jack pot for some fertile eggs for this summer. Whoot! She was telling me about all of the different kinds of chickens they have, but are running together now, but, will be penned together come spring. She said she will have some in March to sell..2 bucks a doz.! Whoot, again..
