Thanks for all this...will try. Does any manufacturer make a decent incubator for back yard chickens?
I'm loving my Rcom 20. I had terrible luck with styrofoam incubators in trying to control temp and humidity. The Rcom 20 costs about $450-500 new, but you might find a used one on Amazon or eBay cheaper. Luckily mine was given to me. It has taken much of the stress, anxiety, and frustration out of incubating. I have hatched 25 chicks successfully this year so far. Last year I hatched 5 out of an unmentionable amount of eggs.
