I just did a quick check on mine.. can see veining in most.. so exciting...!!

on Day 7, i will look more closely and move questionable ones to one side...

I have Black copper marans how hard are they to candle?

So far for an update I have 24 chicken, 7 duck and 4 jumbo quail in the incubator for a total of 35. I will update tomorrow with the total button quail I put in. Should be anywhere from 5-10.

Yea I did a few eggs of the RIR and have some veining But did not wanna keep the heat off to long will try again Day 7.. Thanks for the info

Hi everybody well I had signed up to hatch-a-long with ya'll then totally forgot and set some eggs on the first. Then I had a hen go broody on me, so without realizing I set some eggs under her in time for them to hatch easter sunday.

I just ran the maglight over a few. I see a lot of clears in the first 2 rows of one carton. I'm thinking that I held eggs back too long, cause those haven't been having a problem. Not going to bother candling for a few days. Might not till lockdow, Scratch that I have over 100 eggs that need to go in, so once I candle I'll have room I'm sure.
