The 4th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long

We did a quick candle and looks like we are holding steady at 12.... Not our best hatch but weird things have happened between the fire and the wonky shipped egg air cells so we are considering this a victory!!!
Now to hold out to lockdown so the kids can have something to hatch for their project!!!! We have the webcam hooked up in the hatcher so they can watch during class fun fun my Son really does a nice job getting these kids the whole experience! I am really proud of him!

Well since the other thread was put to a stop I hope you all know I have to feed kids now! Good thing Pizza Guys is 2 blocks away and has a special. Wow is it really almost 9??? No wonder they're hovering. I'm lucky to still have limbs I guess.

i didnt use a fancy background, i just used a canvas that I would have used to paint on. And I found crushing the eggshell directly onto the glue isn't as nice as when you crush it elsewhere and pick it up with your toothpick and handplace.

Now I am going to have to try this! Too much to do and too little time to do it!

I have been reading off and on throughout the last few pages I haven't posted on, trying to keep up.

Just thought I would update, tomorrow is lock down day for me, I will do a quick candling. I plan to mark the ones I see movement in and ones that I'm not sure about, Lay them on their sides on shelf liner. Wish me Luck! I will keep updating. We have been taking advantage of the last two nicer days we are going to have for a while and getting some work done outside and in! FINALLY, got our new counter top put on I had been waiting on, YAY more counter space! lol We have a small kitchen. ehh

Got a second baby tonight, but not sure that it's going to make it. Some things happened that disturbed the broody, and the new baby was lying on the floor next to her, eyes shut and feeling cold for a chick when I picked it up. I stuck it back under the mama. Only time will tell what happens. Hoping it's okay.
