Ok, so I mis-read the set date to be this last Saturday, which explains my crazy and strange initial post about joining. Sorry to be confusing, I am not in fact a time-traveller visiting from the future.

I was testing eggs from my Speckled Sussex pen. Its a good thing because the rooster decided to die last week for lack of anything better to do.

Hello everyone, a fellow BYC'er had a devastating barn fire, early Monday morning. They lost all there animals and the barn burned down. As we all know a building is replaceable, but the animals not so much. Please visit their facebook and send your prays, there is also a place to send donations if anyone wants to help, reading this brought me to tears as I had PM'd them to ask about their puppy and a brooder they built. I felt horrible.

What an absolute nightmare!!! I live in fear of a barn fire and losing all the precious animals and birds... And poor Clemintine died as well... Just absolutely heartbreaking...
