Does the FF cause birds to be drunk.![]()
No frozen water here, but we're supposed to get snow tomorrow. Ugh, mid 70's to snow in one day.

Rooster booster dry measurements pleases, the container states 1 oz to 16 gallon, what does that mean for one gallon
oh its not a new variation! It happens its all genetics and 100% from tailed serama..... I am researching and coming up pretty much empty handed!!Great chick pics Sally! Always interesting to see some new variations too. Kudos to your daughter as well!
I've incubated in my 60* basement . Wasn't with still air though.Ohhhh boy. Fifty pages behind. I hope I haven't missed anything too important!
So, would an incubator do alright in a room that is cooler? I've read that you should keep them in a room that doesn't drop below 70 F (21.1 Celsius). After consulting with my mom, I've found, much to my chagrin, that the best place (and about the only place) I will be able to set up my still air is in my room, which hovers between 63 and 65 F. I'm much more comfortable in a cooler environment, and I have an arctic draft that comes in off my basement window, but I think what I'll have to do is cram a blanket into the window and see if I can't bring the heat up in my room. I would rather not endanger any eggs I'm going to be keeping in here.
The good thing about all this is that I can be sure none of the house pets are messing with the incubator while it's on. I fished a few unfertilized eggs out of the back of the fridge today to do a dummy test over the next couple of days..........wish me luck![]()
