here is a diagram to wire it up, just save this pic it will be valuable to you when you get the thermostat. if you have any questions PM me before you plug it in I will try to help.

Thank you so much for this. I had bought one of these to have as a back up in case one of mine blows. I've printed this photo out and will always have it on hand now.

Question: I see the power cord on the left (wired to #2) but then also see it wired to 3 & 4 how do you do this?

*sigh* I would like to hatch some of my Vorwerk eggs out for Easter, but the boy I've selected for them isn't good enough for them. They absolutely loath him. He's not allowed anywhere near him, but if he does manage to sneak up, they scream blue murder and get away. I think they prefer bigger boys. They happily let my two biggest cockerels step on whenever they fancy.
A couple more weeks to go, but I may be setting infertile eggs :-(

the one is to power the device..... the other powers the heating element but the device acts as a switch to turn on and off the heat.

Quote: For me, the incubator. Never did get a broody until AFTER I got an incubator.

Well my silkie decided to go broody. A little early.
She can wait, right?

Time for a back up plan? I hope your hens start liking him soon.
