I think this is going to be a looooong 2.5 weeks before we can set these eggs!!!! We have so many excited kids here I can hardly stand to wait! Our test hatch is now complete our last 5 chicks hatched Sunday and 1 yesterday!!! So we are ready!!
Good thing we have these chicks to keep the kids occupied until set day. I am excited to see what we will hatch I have ordered some mystery eggs and a few known breeds but I will leave most as a surprise for the kids when they hatch!

Anyone here have any reviews on the Pro-Series Circulated air incubator w/automatic egg turner? That is the incubator I plan to purchase or would I be better off just buying the LG still air and Turner separate?

I think I've also read the book at least ten times, the first time when I was about 12.

LOL I just saw this post and had to ask if you have read Rhett Butler's People by Donald McCaig? I found it at a resale shop and am about half way through it. It is a authorized novel based on Mitchell's Gone With The Wind. It's a great book and gives the other side of the love story. They could have made a movie out of this one too.

I never felt like there was a possible sequel........................she always wins (he backs down)..........................he stands strong (she doesn't get her way)................no win.
I should have said I am half way through reading this for the 2nd time. I like it because it stays true to the original but is from his point of view. I think it adds to and doesn't take away from the original. The author was awarded for his Excellence in Civil Was Fiction and was chosen by the Margaret Mitchell estate to write Rhett Butler's People.

Quote: I have this too, but haven't found a good block of time to read it. Bad habit of reading a book in its entirety in one sitting - though I have gotten a little better about "putting the book down" so I can get some sleep. More incentive to start reading it when it is given a good review by others.

*My teen daughter read "Gone With The Wind" last year for an American Author paper for school. She didn't want to read it, but I told her she'd love it. Funny thing is, she Did love it!
