QUICK! I need plans for an easy to assemble bator! My husband brought home eggs (without talking to me first)

which have filled up my one and only bator! I need either a second bator or I'm going to have to set my eggs with the ones I set today. Or is it possible to hatch out two batches of eggs in one bator?
This is how I got my first LG. LOL

I trying finding the section for DIY incubators, but I can't find it. I've had this problem since the site switched over. Maybe someone else can find it for you.

ANYONE???

I weigh and candle

13% at lockdown. 8% at 10 days is perfect. 28% humidity is good too. You are on track - dont over think.

I would have tossed cracked eggs. After having to deal with a stinker oozing in my bator and potentially infecting all eggs - a cracked egg is not worth the risk in my opinion.

By day 18 with 2 lights you can tell if marans are clear as they will glow versus the ones that are more likely viable. Toss them then.

I will never try to set a cracked egg again. I tried it once, by sealing it, and after the embryo was well underway noticed that air was still getting in at the crack site. The air cell eventually connected with the air that had seeped in and half that egg was filled with air. I knew it was really bad, but still had hope for the chick. Hatch day came and the baby was so vacuum packed in there it couldn't move into position, let alone move to do anything to get its muscles working to start absorbing the yolk sac. After it expired, I opened it and found all of this, it was perfectly formed. I felt terrible for setting it in the first place. I know others have many success stories, but I never want to go through that again. Hatching is stressful enough without adding to it.

I'm officially signing on for this year's hatch-a-long, and can pretty much guarantee I'll have a better hatch rate than I did last year, LOL!

Undecided what I'll be setting, or how many, but it'll be at least the 41 it will take to fill my one lone auto turner in my dorm fridge... I will have plenty of room for more I can hand turn!

DURR
Ok so I just went in to check on my 2-3 month old babies and my little cockeral's crop is HUGE! I felt it and I could feel nothing but grain. I think my son may have tossed them some grain. I don't have grit advailable to them yet I plan to buy some soon. His breath doesn't smell sour at all. He's still very active and hopping around and acting just like a kid being the nut he really is. I offered them some sand and dirt and they pecked at that. Is there anything I cans do?!
