woah. I am sorry if i sounded mean - it was not my intent. I was comparing all the teenagers in a place locked up with no one in or out to an incubator on lockdown - no hand in or chicks out a worried stance over the bator with no sleep.

again I am sorry if you were offended. I will try and make my humor clearer. sometimes a throw a crack in here or there but never malicious.

I think that's the only problem with the big hatches. Conversations seem to run together and there can be confusion. Hang in there, we all get turned around at some point. You'll be fine and we'll probably have you so hooked you'll be thinking this is the "Hotel California." So what breeds are you going to be hatching? Have you hatched before or is this your very first?

My first since hatching with my parents when I was a young girl.... My dad has a friend that raises chickens and picked up the eggs for me so I am not sure of the breed .... About 3/4 of the eggs are brown and the rest are off white save one that is green ! They said some of his we're real pretty brown and some had feathers by their feet I am excited to find out what they will look like ESP the green egg I sure hope it makes it

Yes they are on day 5

I am also doing a hatch before the Easter hatch. Mine are on day ten and I candles last night. So exciting to see them moving around in there. I have buff Brahma and blue/black/splash marans cooking.
