Hurley did a great job on the article for the Iowa Blues! They used most of what she wrote, though the proposed Standard they listed has changed a little since then.
Gorgeous! Sending you a PM
I was thinking about this last night and thought I would post that last year for the hatch a long, rate was figured as #eggs hatched / # eggs set.
For a large group like this and so that # can be Proven that's how it was done. Not sure how they are going to do best and worst hatch this year.
I'm so sorry Sally. I have hit many brick walls with my Barnevelders. I have thought about giving up on them, but I just can't - I love them too much. But I certainly am frustrated.RIP My blue girl! OMG Her bumblefoot came back and I didnt even know it!![]()
Stupid WINTER GO AWAY! I have NO LUCK with this breed!! OMG!!!
Sure, you can still participate! My hatching eggs are supposed to be here by the first week of march from Bargain here on BYC and from an RIR breeder, this is our set times with them. I know Nancy (bargain) is sick though and Dick Horstman has told me his hens have been a little off with the weather changes. Anyhow, I'm assuming they will send Monday or Tuesday and get here by Wednesday or Thursday, will I be eligible to still participate? I'm not sure if I will be able to set on Saturday at noon however.
