Hey guys. I have a couple bators gpoing since Feb 4. They started hatching out on Sunday Feb 20. I have been watching them amd have 21 chicks. I have had a couple pip out until i could see their beaks then just stop and die. Is this common? What can I do to prevent it. I helped one hatch and wasnt sure if that was the right thing to do. The chick seems health but has the egg membrane matted to its back and I cant put it in the brooder because the rest of the chicks think the membrane is interesting nd he ends up with a crowd of ten or 15 chicks pecking at his back. I am thinking that it may dray up and fall off in a few days then he can join his siblings.
