Those are BIIIIGGG egg racks.
Very Cool! what did you use for the nipple part? or did you buy a nipple?
You have given it a good shot, the tissues need time to heal and the swelling to shrink. Might need more time, like another week. Remember how long it takes a cut to heal . . .healing talks7-10 day. This prolapsed hen we rescued is SOOO frustrating! It doesn't look that bad, never more than an inch out at the most, she laid an egg yesterday and the day before without trouble. The prolapse goes back in pretty easily with very little help, but the problem is that she pushes it back out EVERY TIME SHE POOPS! I am not sure what else to do! Yes, this is only the third day after we started treating her, so maybe she will eventually learn to hold her innards IN on her own? I tried to wrap her up last night as suggested in this article, but it was a total failure. Didn't keep it in and a big mess to unwrap in the morning. Must not have wrapped it right, but I don't know how else to do it! I have resolved to give her a week at least before giving up. Praying for some results soon!![]()
