Well it's official. Never fails with the big hatches, I swear I'm cursed!!!

First I was separating eggs by breed, then I go out to get the trays I left out in the sun after I cleaned them. What's left it chewed up. I'm going to be hunting the dogs in this neighborhood. Although I have no idea why I left them out front and just didn't put them out back. That was fine, my fault, I have paper cartons, so I can deal.

I have a hatch due the 19th so I figured I'd clean out from the quail hatch and candle. Just wanted everything ready for set time. hmmm some clears, but 28 going strong. I went to put the the try back in and my stupid turned dropped and 4 eggs smashed. I grabbed a LG out that I had bought at the auction and cleaned, but hadn't tested yet and stuck them in. Then I went to put the thermometers in with the eggs and they were both broken from the crash. Now I can't get the turner tightened and it lays sideways.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the 138 eggs (had 142, but I knocked that 4 in the floor) and can't monitor this LG and won't make it to Walmart before they close.

YUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm batting a thousand! Can we have a prize for the worse luck??

Good Saturday Morning everyone. I have to be in Highland IL by 7 am today for a rabbits show so I set my eggs just a few mins ago. I sent 8 home grown Easter Egger Eggs under my broody. I'll get pics later. But for now, I'm outta here... Rabbit show, here I come!!!!!!

Been a really long night. Not only all of my mechanical stuff and broken eggs, I thought I had 138 to set. Oops! More like 151. Still not going to set the last 18 yet. Maybe monday.
