I set 26 eggs at noon on the 9th. I just finished a horrible hatch and I'm trying something different this time (no crates and hand turning versus turning the entire incubator)......hopefully I have better luck! These are just a barnyard mix - I have a BO and a BR roo over EE's, RIR, BSL, BR and WL........the babies are adorable when they hatch.

Today is set day for Coturnix Quail


We want to hatch on March 30th, (the day BEFORE Easter Sunday)
button quail: 16 days to hatch; set March 14th
coturnix quail: 18 days to hatch; set March 12th

18 DAYS!!!

The five Swedish Flower Hens I hatched last week just in time to empty incubator for this hatch.

QUESTION
Button Quail! this doesn't embed in my mind, I am sorry!
But what day is lockdown for them?
Harmony added some last week and I need to mark calendar! Any incubating tips appreciated too!
Boy those tiny eggs are a pain to turn, I am afraid I will break them!
