Hello Everyone!
I have been away from my computer for about a week it seems lol and I cant figure out a lot of the functions from my phone (although I can only upload photos from my phone-lol so I am sort of backwards). We have been experiencing our first wildfire of the season here WAY too early
and had to evacuate our horses and collect important things... We were able to do a brief candling last night of our eggs and it looks like we have about 50% viable right now. We had a shipment of 14 eggs and unfortunately at this point it appears all but 2 are clear. I am hoping that we are wrong and I am going to give them a couple more days to show veining. Our other shipment of 9 eggs all but 1 have good solid veining and development (the 9th appears to just be slow but I still have hope for her). And all of our Silkies are chugging along!
So as long as they can get these fires undercontrol and we can prevent the super intelligent from playing with fire during our massive drought
then we should be ready for hatching come the 30th!!! Now I need to go back and catch up on the thread to see all the excitement we have missed
