I just checked one of my emu eggs and it is CHIPPING,WHISTLING, AND WIGGLING like CRAZY!!! Then when I knocked the shell with my ring to listen what it sounded like, it was a very high, almost a spoon hitting a tea-cup sound. I even heard the little claws and beak scratching against the shell! Since it's peeping, does that mean that it has broken it's air sac?

I believe and Emu chick is called just that, an Emu chick.

I could be wrong though.

How long does it take an Emu to hatch?

I believe about 12 hours from when it first pipes. I'm not totally sure though.
