My new pattern is to candle only on lockdown to remove the clears. I know, it's hard to leave them alone when you are first starting out, but it gets easier!

I only candle once, sometime between day 7 - 10, then once more at lockdown

Nope, you set the number that is best for you.

Pozees wants them too so I could send this batch that way. They are starting to lay real well now too.

Then I will be sending some to Oz Tuesday. I got 5 empordanesa eggs the last few days so hopefully I can get some tomorrow to send to Oz along with the black and crele penedesenca

I found another PP egg in the nest box so I have three now. I should have a dozen to send next weekend.

They move into the hatcher on the 20th. the next big set will be the 21st but I should have room for another few hundred

I will be setting goose turkey chukar chicken and quail for the hatch-along

What kind of hatch rate do you get. These aren't all from your own hens are they? You bring a lot over don't you?
