So DH surprised me yesterday, he brought back six friends for my one lonely chick! (Six is my State's minimum) They were a bit bigger than my one chick, but no one seemed to notice. They all got along great.
So now I have seven in the brooder ready to grow up together.

I'm so happy you got it friends. Eating, sleeping, and pooping can be lonely business when all by yourself, lol!

So, I finally broke down and bought the Brinsea Spotcheck. My husband has built me a cabinet incubator, and I really think it's gonna work out. Temps are holding steady, I just don't know what temp it actually is because all 3 different therms are reading wrong. Humidity is nice and high, which is where I want it because of the duck eggs. So, now I wait. Does Brinsea usually ship quickly, or are they slow?

Ray finally got incentive when I explained that the trio of Pilgrim Geese I'm getting will be laying next year. They lay between 30-50 eggs a year each. At $25.00 a piece Ray saw the light finally, lol!

Ok im going to try and keep up again!! Miss a few days and it is madness.

I found a humidifier that will fit my cabinet and a switch to control it!! Only took 2 weeks of looking. Now I hope to have auto humidity and an easier life haha!!
