Okay, I am posting, just to post.

Seems like every time I post, I'm the last to post on that page. So getting in early on this page.

I started collecting eggs yesterday, only 3 eggs so far. I am only going to be collecting from 2 of my hens for this Easter hatch. I also ordered 12+ BCM eggs from a BYC member to be shipped next week so excited

will be arriving Tuesday!. I was just going to use my handy dandy mini eco...but, wow!

Congrats! Do make sure you have an alternative thermometer though - my two like that have about an 8 degree error at hatching temperatures (reading 92 at 99.5).

I think it would be wise to get another known to be accurate thermometer. I have heard the extra one can be unreliable also. Everyone on here keeps raving about the brinsea spot check. Im planning on buying one of these thermometers very soon also.

The extra one is cheap and not reliable. I went and purchased two aqua thermometers at WM and used all three. It has been stated by many that the Brinsea Spot check is very good. You can purchase it directly from Brinsea @ $19.99.

Tractor supply doesn't carry any digital thermometers.

Walmart carries the Acu-rite digital thermometer which I currently use. But recently it came to someones attention after getting the brinsea spot check that the Acu-rite was registering 5degrees lower than the brinsea.

I hear Brinsea spot checkis the most accurate and the way to go. you would need to order it online.
