No! My wife LOVES chrysanthemums and when she saw them fell in love. So, I wrote the seller and asked about them and they did a buy in now for me. They sent a bunch of extras but unfortunately only 3 made it to hatch time (most had detached air sacs from shipping) and one was a late quitter. So we have two. I will post more pictures soon.
haha maybe I will write to the seller too! I was sort of halfheartedly bidding, just because they are cool, but how many more chicken breeds to I really need? and I don't have more room to set up separate breeding pens, but they look so cool, so i bid for a little bit, but gave up in the end.

I wish I had an incubation "room". I'm lucky to get a corner.

Ha, my incubation "room" is the corner of our basement. No sun light for temp variations or duct work. I run a little space heater to help out keeping the temp in the area a bit warmer and steady, It's not pretty but it works.

So I'm new to hatching and I have a question I have a LG 9200 incubator (still air and no auto turner) So would it be a bad thing if I turned the eggs at 7am 7pm and 9pm? That would be three times daily? Any help is appreciated

I also have still air bators. I turn around 9 in the morning..3 in the afternoon, and 9 at night. Do I always turn at the same time every day?? Nope. :) Just so I turn within a couple of hrs. of those times. I am happy with that.

I have a closet!

One day though when a DD or two move out....
Oh you kids today with your fancy closets, when I was your age we had to incubate in a cardboard box, with a light bulb and a pie pan of water, and we were thankful. (I kid, I kid, I'm guessing ronott1 and I are about the same age, he might be a tad younger.

Have any of you heard of the Polish Chrysanthemum? They are a project breed out of Arizona, cross of polish, frizzle,Turken. Here is a picture of one I had hatch today

and one of others from the breeder. I will share more pictures when she finishes drying out.

Oh, how cute are these? I use to .. dislike turnkens...NN's...but for some reason, I've come to really like them. I like them with the bow tie and beard best. Look at those cute little hats!
