This one brings a smile. :)

Just picked up two boxes of hatching eggs from the post office! Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. :weee :ya

I only ordered 15, but they were accidentally sent a few days earlier than we agreed, so he sent another batch... They both arrived today, and there were 5 extra in the first box! So...35 instead of 15 - it's like New Year's all over again! :/

The eggs were fabulously packed - each egg individually bubble wrapped. And all eggs are intact. I'll candle tonight to check air cells. And I think I'll set a couple days early to give the first batch sent a better chance.

Agreed on the kissing a person who smokes. Been there done that. And good for you! No coffee, no withdraws. Must not have been drinking too much.

Actually, on the contrary. I taught robotics on all 3 shifts. Evenings, I'd drink very little, except for the pot at home when I got up. Day shift, I'd drink about 2 pots. Midnights, I'd drink coffee the whole shift. In recent years, I'd usually have 1-2 pots a day. I really thought it would bother me. I remember my parents always having a headache if they ran out of coffee.

Wow! Great deal! Good luck!

I'm also a Hyperbole and a Half fan, and no you probably shouldn't use her character/artwork for a t-shirt (or risk getting eaten by monsters) but you can use this one:

I just made it on my computer "in the style of."

Easy enough to load the image up to Zazzle or somewhere so people could put it on whatever they want... We'd just need to find out what BYC's rules are.
Thanks! I have already added the image to my folder.

coffee is a very mild addictive drug. We become used to the level we drink quickly and then the with drawl symptoms are very mild and only last a couple of days. A couple of cups a day is good four us too! Lots of anti oxidants and has been shown to protect against Type 2 diabetes.

Quick question for you all. I have 2 eggs that have pipped at mid way down or lower. I have them in egg cartons to hatch upright but I'm worried that some may try to pip where the egg rests against the carton. Should I try to take them out and lay them down? It's only that 1 breed of eggs the other breeds in different cartons are pipping right. Help?

I think I forgot to announce this Monday.
call duck: 26 days to hatch; set March 24th
So hopefully you got them in! If not, get them in now so they still count towards the hatch-a-long!
Got my calls in Mon and the turkeys & anconas went in Sat. Chicks are going in tomorrow so they hatch in time to tutor the poults. :)

That's so cool. Aruba! We have someone that is from Norway..also, very cool..and Canada..soo very very cool...literally.. :D I wonder how many different states we have on here now..that is very very cool too! :)
I think we also have Australia & I know Oz is in the Philippines.
Ok, a lot of you are going to think I'm the crazy one..but I'm not sure here. With all of this talk about about coffee..whew...it sounds addicting! As much as hatching..lol.! I used to drink coffee once in a while while I worked at restaurants, but not much. I think I am glad I didn't get "hooked" on it though, from the sounds of it here. Really? People need coffee to be themselves? :idunno Also tried the smoking thing back in the 70's...soooo glad I didn't like that!
I rarely drink coffee & then it's usually decaf or 1/2 caf. I can't say the same for smoking though. I've smoked off & on since I was 14. :(

I have had some pip too far down and lost them, thats why I wont use cartons for hatching ;)
