Just spoke to DH. He is working on setting the remainder of the eggs. He set 14 yesterday because we received them earlier in the week:

7 Marraduna Basque
7 Partridge Barthuhner

Today we are setting:

7 Marranduna Basque (These are from a different breeder than yesterdays batch)
7 Swedish Flower Hens
6 Collonca
6 Huastec
6 Quechua

Total set for the HAL is 46

Ok so I swore I would never be one of "those people" who can't even count how many eggs are in their incubators, but this year- that's me. When I add up my totals on paper I get 117 total, when I physically count them in the incubator I get 118.
haha edited to say I figured out what happened: the guy sent 6 silver duckwings and instead of 5 and I didn't write it down. it DOES NOT affect my total, there are still 118 total set

I put 4 ee and oe eggs under my tiny lil bantam cochin, (i was shocked that she fit them! xD) I put 4 silkie and 3 oe eggs in my brinsea, and I tried to put 4 mixes under my slightly broody rir but I'm not counting those in my total since I'm not convinced she'll stay put xD

Hey Kiomey, the eggs I got at our fun night are finally in my bator. Hope they do OK... I know they are a little bit on the old side... Gotta give them a chance though.

My final batch of eggs arrived today I ordered these english orpingtons a while back my heart sank when I saw the package.




What do I do?????

Open it and see if any made it through... Then call where you ordered the eggs.

I opened it up I ordered 12 eggs she sent 13 only one was broken so I guess I should consider my self lucky I can only imagine the condition the air cells are in.
