I opened it up I ordered 12 eggs she sent 13 only one was broken so I guess I should consider my self lucky I can only imagine the condition the air cells are in.

Yeah, wow did you ever luck out with that one.. We have a two day swing period for setting our eggs right... So, let them sit till tomorrow then candel them. Might just have to take a chance and set them in the next 48hrs.

Set 5 Welsh Harlequin duck eggs on March 27th. I'm getting some mutt duck eggs today probably and some Orpington chicken eggs!

Good morning woke up to chicks hatching!!!!!!!! cochin bantams, asil/who knows,

Now for my problem I have more eggs than space , hatching. My only choice is to turn turner off until I can fit these eggs

in with these eggs as they hatch


Have turner turned off. Now should I turn the other eggs a couple times a day. At least a little LOL
this is coming from a gal that wasn't going to hatch any chicks this year.
Than I have eggs waiting to be picked up by new owners, that have showed up .
Lots of them.
Guess I'll just have to set them. Think I am out of room after I set my Easter Hatch
Think I need other cup of coffee.

Scrambled yolk? What does that look like?

You can see pieces of the yolk floating in the eggs. I think someone saw that here recently and wondered what it was.

It float in the middle of the egg. Those eggs have a very hard time hatching.

They stay on our farm and make beautiful lawn ornaments that make more chicks and lay eggs for customers.

What do I do about the egg goo all over the other eggs?

Hey guys helpe out with this one... Would a light vinegar wash hurt the eggs? I'm not sure... Sorry...

Hey Kiomey, the eggs I got at our fun night are finally in my bator. Hope they do OK... I know they are a little bit on the old side... Gotta give them a chance though.

GOOD LUCK! ^^ I am so very excited and nervous lol I only got 4 silkie eggs (which I had planned to give the chicks to a friend) but now that means I had all this room to set olive eggers xD but i'm gonna wanna keep those! Augh! Maybe I'll be over it and willing to find them homes... I certainly have no more room xD
