Okay, so I went ahead and set six eggs for the hatch, three cochins (would have been four but I cracked an egg) and three easter eggers, just because. I would have done more but the person I was going to hatch eggs for has been giving me some trouble so I opted not to set eggs for him.

Oh boy, monster eggs!! Beautiful. Good luck on your hatching them. I don't believe I have seen a baby goose! Oh my goodness. For reals! Anyone have a photo of a newly hatched baby goose? I've seen the ducks, I've seen quail. An emu..

Not a baby goose. And you would have thought I might. My grandmother had geese. But I just remember jumping the creek to get away for them. I know, they like water, but we were faster at jumping the creek than they were at waddling down the side then up the other.

Off to church, ya'll have a great rest of the morning, ya hear? :)

I set 10 lemon cuckoo Orpington eggs yesterday! I'm hoping for better results than my last batch which was lost due to power outage! It looks like spring finally came to Tennessee :)

Set: 92 Silkied Ameraucana Project eggs. (stacked layer eggs not pictured)

Whew, lots of them and more off colored eggs than I would normally set, but I'll tag them so I know who came from what color egg.

May set up to 18 or so more, not sure yet.

OMG!!! OMG!!! I am finally caught up! I love Ron's digests and read them religiously, but I just love reading what everyone is setting and looking at the pictures. Time to go get a pic of my eggs and post my numbers.

Oh my, oh my, I just found someone in my area that will have baby Sebastopol geese here in the next few days. Eeeeeeeeee! I hope I can get one! I am going to try my best.... :fl
