I think early-ish April but that would mean I would have it running the whole time and no one would be able to fill the water pots.
I add water at the start of hatch, then don't add any more until Day 18. Does your bator hold temp pretty steady?
Yeah its pretty steady with the temperature but I have a Brinsea Mini Advanced and one of the water pots is always suppose to be fill until day eighteen and then both of them are suppose to be filled until hatching is done, or at least that's what it said in the manual and how I've always done it.
Ah, they'd be fine. *peer pressure* I have the Brinsea Advance too (hovabator also), and run dry hatches all the time. Mother Nature is tougher than you think.

Wow, chicken pickin! Looking at your signature, I think you have about the perfect flock! I would love to walk out in the morning to that mix of beauties!

Thanks! I do have quite a mix of chickens lol Id love to have one of everything but wouldn't we all. What I love about my flock is that the chickens themselves are a colorful bunch and then from them I also have quite a colorful egg basket.

Now I am excited. I have got someone in a warmer area of the state to receive my shipment from berrytangle. I have made arrangements so that berrytangle will ship my hedemora eggs so the arrive just in time for the saturday set date. I will have 6 of those eggs, and hopefully 6 english orp eggs, along with the rest of my hova filled with my yard eggs. my hatching addiction keeps improving my hatch rates, and my minor adjustments to the bator seem to be keeping things alive a lot better then before, as I have more then doubled my viable eggs at day 15. only 2 quitters in this group... turns out my bator was a little hot for the average egg..

Yay I think I found eggs! Whohooo!
Glad I gave a few people a good laugh! Thanks for the answers! The breed in question is the Swedish Flower Hen. I have apparently become enemy #1 to one certain person on youtube since they keep going out of their way to insult me and attempting to troll my inbox. They've sent me several messages over the past few months that I never got since I can't find my inbox half the time. :gig Let's just say I got a good laugh this morning when I finally found my inbox again.
what in the world! Raz sorry you gettin crud, that stinks :( As far as breeds, I am limited to basically four so I havent the foggiest, but I can tell you this much..... we have WFBS large fowl, brahma, serama, CCL, RIR, BR and out of all of them the WFBS have gone through this winter the best by FAR! go figure! not a spot on a comb either, I am overwhelmed with eggs from them too!
