Your post is worth reading again and again-- SOmetimes I forget to put in the hydrometer thing-- I just don't need it. The eggs tell me to add water or not. I always start with dry wells.

THe eggs also tell me if the temps are off. THey know best. Of course just starting out it is worth buying a top quality thermometer. Mine only reads a whole number-- tenths would be welcomed.

My bulb is 15w =)
But it's got to be incandescent. (Wow!!! I can't believe I spelled that right the first time!!!)

Anyway, there are all kinds of laws going into effect already, now, soon, IDK about not manufacturing anymore incandescent bulbs in certain wattages and/or selling them, etc. IDK, but get what you can while you can, right?

15watt will be fine. It is the higher wattage bulbs they want to Squash.

Both were very tasty but the Pita Pintas were half a pound bigger with no finishing.
