I got a broody!!

Just one, what about all those cartons and cartons of eggs you have been collecting?

I will be setting eggs for the hatch-a-long also. I will set 30 Buckeye eggs, 18 Barred Rocks, 7 Lavender Ameraucana, 11 BuckyBars and 4 EE eggs.

Welcome! I think that is 70 total. (They told me there would be no math.)

I almost ordered emu eggs. I just don't know what I would do with am emu if I managed to hatch it.

SELL IT! Lol. A week old baby emu chick can get $125 PER CHICK.

By the way if any of you buy Ebay eggs I must give a shout out to Birdbrain who sent my Banty Wellies eggs to me. She has been a delight to deal with and packaged the eggs safely in bubble wrap an eggcarton, shredded paper and a sturdy box. I still must candle (need new bulb) but they look perfect.

I made a score today with getting a hold of some new grow out pens!

This is the inside of the box. It already has a perch.

Now I realize it needs some paint yet. My oldest son ( not the one that is hurt) and I replaced the wire the whole way around this afternoon.

This one was a rabbit hutch but I am going to use it for chicks or ducklings.

Maybe not a big deal for some, but I am quite pleased with today!
