After candling this morning (day 3) to recheck air cells, I have the following observations/thoughts:

1) Only 2 of 30 air cells are stable, most are still wobbly, and at least 3 are still floating.

2) I have no idea what to do with information in number 1. Start turning the wobbly and stable ones?Wait another day? They have been sitting upright for over 4 days.

3) I'm wondering how long an incubating egg can go without turning before it becomes detrimental.

4) I thought I saw tiny veining in a few. Am I supposed to see something this early?

5) It's my first time with shipped eggs, and I've already decided I don't want to do it again.

6) I am scared I will have a 0% hatch rate.

Edited to add: all four of my thermometers were showing about the same thing up until about 24 hours ago, when two started fluctuating down and up within a 3 degree range. Which brings me back to #6 above.
Don't know if someone already answered this. I haven't caught up on all the posts yet. Could you turn them a little by putting a book or something under one side of the bator, then moving it to the other side for the next "turn" You can see veins that early sometimes, especially if it's a light egg. Veins are a good thing.

. Shipped eggs are hard. When I incubate them, I don't pick them up to candle. If I want to candle them I just put the flashlight to the top of the egg, and leave it in the "big end up" position. I'm sure you'll get some to hatch.

Ok so peeked at my shipping eggs. Some look really good some air sacs are still ??? I have kept them upright in cartons pointy end down.. I haven't started turning yet I was allowing the airsacs to settle. Should I wait a bit longer??

One of the eggs I candeled looked like there was bubbles in it when I turned it over the light? Never saw that before...
Oh yes!

Lets all sing!

Tiny Bubbles, in the eggs; Makes me feel sadly; Makes me want to Cry!

They still may hatch. The air cell can still repair itself. Wait until day 5 and turn on the auto Turner.

OK so leave them alone until then. No auto turner here :(

I set my quail last night while checking this round's hatch. They should have been in a couple days ago, but was holding off for the HAL. But, they are in. They are already tallied on my total. ;)
