Howdy doody! So I candled the eggs in my incubator and it doesn't look like a single one is developing anything, it being nearly a week ya think something would've veined by now if it was gonna eh? So does this mean I'm out of the hatch if I don't have any viable/developing chicks? *sighs* Hope ya'll have had a great week!

Kiomey, if you need some eggs (I have more than enough) we could try to pack some with bags of hot water around them. I could bring you some of mine.

Hey well i candled the eggs to pick out the bad ones but i seen this is all the ones i knew were alive. Did they all die or is it just normal incubation results on day 8? im really nervous i killed them please tell me im wrong.

Oh, my, gosh! Look at the egg I just found in my coop! It is next to my largest duck egg that I have! Should I throw it in my bator and see what happens?

I found one yesterday and today is day two for my gigantor, in my incubator, which is from my BLR Wyandotte...

I suggest also asking for candle date in terms of days since setting -- that may affect the number viable at first candling statistic. And it might be wise to ask for any known issue notes (eg, power outage, etc) in case it skews your information at all.

the candling should be at7-10 days

Yay! Is there supposed to be condensation like that for geese hatching? Just curious, since I've never hatched them.

They look fine. By Day 18, they should be all dark, except for the air sac.

Oh good, so I'm not the only one who wants to try.. Lol It may seem wrong to some but if it was left in the nest I am sure the hen would try to hatch it.... That being said... Mine is in my bator also.. I had to see what happens.. Good or bad.

i was nervous i ordered 8 eggs and 3 are alive and those clear spots to the dark spot was a blood ring like is it or is that an air sack or what is that clear spot?

I will keep track for you OZ mine were 100%shipped this time with several being repaired small cracks etc, ironically they are the first ones to show life some of it not good the stinky egg was a repaired one..maybe you could make up some kind of form that way the data you get or want is uniform and has all the information you want and need....and easier to process for you could just plg the numbers into excel and generate results. Hey it almost sounded like I have 2 degrees and put away my mom hat for a minute.
