The 5th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

So I need to make an incubator fast! My chick goes into lockdown tomorrow! I got a Styrofoam cooler. I tried to look for other stuff, but I want ur opinions. I saw Sally Sunshine's but I dont have that kind of cooler! How do I make a quick one.

here is my set up i have 1 14watt CFL on the other side of the wire
Here is a better pic of the set up it's simple and cheap but you have to keep an eye on the temps if you don't make enough "vents" it's gets hot to quick to many and it won't keep temp

and if you have a old picture frame your not useing and a little bit of duck tape you can add a window

I need hatch help.... I have one that pipped (wrong end) about 22 hours ago. It was peeping loudly. Now its peep is weakening and it kind of clicks with every breath. Should I help it?

Thanks again! Skelter came today. Need to get more variety in my colors now. The BR and RIR look too similar. Might have to get a blue/green layer.

no I went to help and the first chip of egg I took I could see veins so I put it back. It started receding but I don't think it finished and passed

Totally up to you. I can tell you that clicking happens when they are dying. Sorry.
