Are they noisy when grown? We have acreas but we live in a neighborhood too.

They take 28 days to hatch Math and now Im in Ill be setting them on my birthday so hopefully that will make them extra lucky.
In answer to your question, They can be quite noisy little beggars - my pintos are by far the most vocal- so glad their pen is a little distance from the house.

C'mon ducks, I've got my flock separated into breeding flocks so I don't end up with a heavy over a runner or vice versa, now it's up to them to start laying, greedy guts inhale the layer so I have to measure and feed each hen separately otherwise my drakes would be to fat to keep the eggs fertile. Last year my ducks laid till October score =)
