that thermometer is not accurate enough. You need one that read in tenths.

Spend twenty bucks and buy a brinsea spot check.

Agreed. The spot check is accurate to .1 degree.

I used to do that too. He has given in and does what he can to make tending to mine easier. He builds pens, moves pens and even gave up half his garage to move pens in for winter so its easier on me and my birds. He does so much more too

Now that's love, giving up the garage. My DH would never do that. I'm lucky I get to park my car in it.

Im getting excited, its almost time to start collecting eggs for the hatch a long. I had a dream last night that the chickens I plan to collect from DIED

It made me wake up and want to start collecting today lol. Silly dreams, I shouldnt be dreaming about chickens too

But the count down to egg collecting day has begun. YAY! Its getting close.

Pretty good hatch after all. 17 of 19. Last 2 haven't pipped, but I'll give them a little more time. I opened the hatcher because the temp got a bit high and they were panting.
