I'm being tempted. I've been waiting on my blue and green eggs from my gals for a couple months and now a few days into the HAL they start giving them to me! I'm thinking that when I start pulling clears and rings at a week I might add some more eggs to the empty spots. Sounds reasonable right?

I think it is a law that any green eggs you have on St. Patrick's Day must be hatched.

And, since you want to ensure no lonely chicks, you need to set the blue ones, too - make sure you set a few days worth of eggs to be sure.

Oh sounds like a good law!

I'm out, broody quit on me and I have no incubator. Maybe next time. I'll be watching everyone else's progress.

Dang! Yes, stick around, help us out. That little stink. Was this her first time going broody?

Yes, and it really was just an experimental thing. I just hate seeing those eggs just sitting there uncovered going to waste- the only good part is everyone is now laying in that box too. LOL

See, go get a bator!

Want it to be Saturday already so I can candle, see what I got! I'm pretty worried about my coolerbator.... the eggs farthest away from the bulbs are at a perfect 99.5 but the ones that are closest (yet still not under them or real close to them) are around the 102-103 range..... I've been rotating them every time I turn eggs so I hope that helps (or didn't make it worse by overcooking all of them)
