Everybody: What are you using to incubate?
Are you happy with it?
I hate my incubator. Im sick of killing eggs in it. I will be buying a new 1 in May.
I have 2 Brinsea Octo 20 Advance EX's. Love them. For what I spent on those, I could have gotten a cabinet, but I would be in SOOOO much trouble if I had that much capacity!

Polish often walk around like they are drunk--the crest feathers will block their vision.

This chick falls over and is super clumsy. It was getting trampled by the other 74 chicks in the brooder with it. I'm a sucker so now it's at my house with one other chick to see what happens. Thought my husband would freak, but he seemed like it was normal behavior.

I have the hova bator 2362-E . LOVE IT!

I also have a little giant 9200. Temps flucuate way too much. It works good as a hatcher though.

I love my sportsman, just checked a couple eggs and I can see developement in them already! No more babysitting incubators. I just walk upstairs and watch the digital screen once go through everything and done!

I just got a Brinsea 20 Advance (no humidity pump). I did a test hatch incubating in that and transferring to a homemade cooler bator for hatching. Got an 83% hatch rate. That's the same as I typically get in my cooler bator with local eggs (shipped are always another story!), but the Brinsea is definitely lower maintenance.

Okay, the PO managed to get my Seramas here today. However, they also managed to break 3 of them all over the rest of them and shake all but one of the air cells loose. Now I need to make a decision if I want to leave them sit on the counter a few more hours and go ahead and set them tonight in a cartoon for the Hal or do I want to wait another day or two before I set them? :idunno
I have almost 4 hours to think about it...

We just quickly checked the eggs that are light enough to check. All we could see was yolk sacs. Is it just too early or should I be bringing more chicks home from the store, lol.
