care to share what are you using to candle ?That looks like two embryos lol crazySo I set 42 and pulled 11 clear eggs last night and that leaves me with 31 eggs. So my rooster is doing his job! Any ideas about what day? 16, 17, 18? or longer. I'll try to get a better picture later. I don't want to keep messing with it. But the humidity and egg turner probably should be set for day 18 soon I think or put out with broody. Any thoughts?
From what I can tell, she basically cut the skin off on a nickel sized area, I've been putting this bluekote lotion type stuff on it and she's been keeping it pretty clean so I hope it heals fine. It doesn't seem to bother her too much, she just has a slight limp....but you know kitties, they're notorious for hiding anything wrong. She's eating normal and is still pretty active (chasing/being chased by my other cat, bouncing off walls etc.)
I'd love to see some more pictures if you can get them. Looks earlier than day 18 for sure if I have the geography of the egg correct. A day 18 egg should have more chick. At a glance, I'd say it was about halfway through incubation. but again, I can't verify the position of the egg from the picture, so I can't give a very accurate guesstimate.
