I have a pink egg layer that came to me as an Isbar chick. Her eggs are the middle two at the top. She is going to a new home this weekend, but if you want a few of her eggs this week to work on as a project, PM me.

She is in with Isbar roosters atm, so her offspring may lay green or olive eggs.

O Wise Ones on this thread:

I have gotten confused about when to lockdown. I have a batch that I started on Sat. 3/7 at about 10:30 am. Since it was before noon I think I understand that will be day 1. Please tell me if I am correct in thinking lockdown will be Weds., 3/25 at about 10:30??? Or is it Thursday???? Apparently I can't count to 19. Thank you in advance!
"Lockdown" doesn't need to be that precise. Anytime day 18 or 19 is fine. For what it's worth, my Brinsea auto turner stops turning the end of day 18and start of day 19. So that is how I tend to do it.

How do folks mark their eggs? Just curious.
Pencil for the incubator, sharpie under a broody.

An Isbar laying a pink egg? Strange.
