The 6th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

Well, all but 3 Saturday hatchers hatched yesterday...so to see of the other 3 hatch and wait on my monday eggs. Figure they will make an appearance a day early since my others did.

I just skipped nearly 100 posts lol (I will go back and read them all) but first I had to share...

My first chick of this hatch a long finally hatched!!! A Cream Legbar pullet

3 more CL eggs have pips and nada from the other 50 some things as of yet.

Only issue I ran into is that the humidity dropped drastically in one incubator so I have my shower running to steam up the bathroom so I can quickly open the lid and add more water. I hope it works and no issues arise.

No chick pips this morning and I'm too busy to check so at least I'm not stressing on them. Have a great big Easter party in the morning so I have to get all the prep done today.. phew gotta take a minute.

4 hatched, another zipping and i have a ton of pips. noting on my seramas yet though.

this is the FIRST TIME ive ever had chicks hatch on time! LOL i cant wait till they fluff up for pics

Have 2 chicks now!! The older one (sweet pea) is chick A. We are calling the new on Thin Mint because she loves to sit in the Thin Mint box. We just moved Thin Mint to the brooder and her and Sweet Pea are constantly peeping!! No problems with pecking. She is darker than Sweet Pea.
