don't you just love enabling husbands? Mine told me no now than 30 chickens. ... we're up to 47 at the moment and he's bringing home some quail eggs from a guy he works with for me to hatch, plus I'm getting turkey hatching eggs with no objection lol.

I want Turkeys sooooooo bad! Maybe I can talk him into them if we plan on "eating" them lol

Mine is just as big an enabler - I tell him we are going to pick up more birds and he is more than happy to get them. I told him we were taking a baby goose road trip this weekend. My 23 year old was not happy about me wanting more birds, but he never complains! He apparently is looking at getting me a second incubator...

Cynthia12:
Here is a couple of shots of the same egg. It came from my only Green Egger Naked Neck pullet currently laying.

The one I. The blue blanket looks kind if brownish but the one I. The dresser looks more the right color.

This is her around 16/17 weeks old.

And here is a picture of my GENN rooster that I'll be using this fall to hatch from. Will be putting him with a couple NN and a couple of EE.

Splash can only happen from a splash/splash or blue/splash mating. Now with that said, since EE's are mixes, it's difficult to know what they are contributing genetics wise. And no, not all olive eggers will have beards. First generation usually does, but after that, you can have clean faced olive eggers. Here is one of mine. She has a modified pea comb, but no beard.:
She looks like my OE
